I wasn't even trying to get a photo of this old cafe from the 1920's when I snapped the one of the DeSoto Salon. Later, when I saw it in the photo, I thought, man I wish I could have seen that old neon sign. Which prompted me to do some investigating. As it turns out, I discovered an interesting tidbit. This old painted over neon sign once advertised the Green Door (you can see a hint of that on the other side) and it was actually in the movie "Universal Soldier" in 1992. In the movie, the sign support is painted red and it has a crow painted above the name "The Crow Bar". There are also a couple of smaller neon signs that were added below it, but you can clearly see this uniquely shaped building and sign. I couldn't find the original name of the cafe but you can see it on Lewis Avenue in Ash Fork, AZ
