Formerly the El Comedor de Anayas Restaurant, this antique shop kept this fantastic roadside attraction sign. It doesn't work anymore, but as this is the first roto-sphere I've ever seen, I was still impressed. When working, each spike lights up and each half of the sphere spins. It was installed in the 1960's and was used to draw hungry travelers to the restaurant, including politicians and musicians of the time. The antique store still has some of their autographed portraits adorning two walls in the shop. You'll see this space age sign on Old Route 66 in Moriarty, NM
