Another Iconic Route 66 Attraction, Tucumcari New Mexico

I was really excited to see the neon sign at the Blue Swallow Motel. I've seen images of it in relation to Route 66 many times and I was so glad we were in Tucumari at night so I could see it lit up. It did not disappoint! The motel was built in the very early 1940's and was originally called Blue Swallow Court. The name was changed and the sign was updated in the 1950's and it has been lovingly cared for ever since. You will see this beautiful neon sign on Route 66 in Tucumcari, NM
