There were several old neon motel signs along East 11th Street in Tulsa. I really like the look of this one. It is from 1953 and in front of the Desert Hills Motel that is still in operation. Sadly, from the reviews, it doesn't sound like the new owners take much Route 66 pride in their gem of a motel. Hopefully that changes or they sell to someone who appreciates it so another icon is not lost! Look for it on East 11th Street in Tulsa, OK
