In the parking lot of the Caverns Inn at the entrance to the Grand Canyon Caverns are the remains of Dinosaur City. This part of the caverns tourist attraction was added in the 1960's. I had been watching for the Caverns, but the sign for the entrance is only visible when traveling east and I was heading west. The dinosaurs caught my eye because, well they are giant dinosaur statues, but it looked like the remnants of an old miniature golf course which was intriguing enough to make me miss the back of the huge sign for the caverns that I should have turned around to read. Oh well, next time! You can see these cool dinos on Crookton Road west of Yampai, AZ
