The newer sign has been refurbished but still shows the 1960's style sign posts from the
old sign and there's an even older smaller neon sign for the motel that opened in the 1950's. The motel was still in operation when we were there but was torn down after being condemned by the city in 2022. You can see what's left of the larger sign on Route 66 in Gallup, NM
