Glenrio sits on the stateline between Texas and New Mexico. Once a thriving town, it was the closest thing we saw to an actual ghost town on our Route 66 trip. There are no homes or businesses left operating in town, just abondoned ruins. This gas station was The Brownlee Texaco Station, built in 1950. There is a 1968 Pontiac sitting out front has been parked here since around 1976. You'll see the station on Route 66 in Glenrio, TX
