Originally in St Louis, in 1948, the giant faucet advertised Friede Plumbing Company. Their son moved the sign to St James in the mid 1970's. He repaired it, changed the neon to read "Murdon", replacing the word "Plumbing", and placed it in front of his Concrete Products Company. I can't get enough of these giant sized advertising signs!
