Another of my favorite futuristic looking neon signs. The Road Runner Motel was
torn down in 2017 but they had left the sign. Sadly, I learned that it has since been removed. The motel opened in 1962. It had 31 units, a swimming pool and there was also a cafe. All you can see now are the remains of one of the sign posts in the parking lot beside Road Runner Auto Sales on Route 66 in Gallup, NM
