Right down the road from Blake's was another great hamburger joint sign, with another kind of creepy looking little man on top. I wasn't sure if those squiggly lines on top of his head were his hair or just part of the chef's hat? Either way, you can't not look at him sitting up there. The chain is also a southwest thing which started in 1960. Another plus is that this location still has the original classic pre-fab Valentine A-frame building. You can see it on Central Avenue SE in Albuquerque, NM
