Literally right next door to the Copper State Motel was this one. It sort of tells the sad tale of how busy Route 66 was in it's heyday to support both hotels so near each other. Originally the Hi-Line Modern Auto Court, it was built in 1936. The guest rooms were in a "U" shape around the office and had garages for each unit. Look for the remains of this motel on Lewis Avenue in Ash Fork, AZ
