Originally opened as a Marathon gas station in 1927, the business was purchased by Lauren and Grace Broyles in the 1930's and changed to Broyles Tydol station (the Tydol gas brand existed between 1920 and 1956). They added the Dairy King soft serve in 1951. In the 1980's the building was purchased, restored and opened as the Dairy King restaurant, complete with neon and vintage Marathon gas pumps. It is located on North Main Street in Commerce, OK
