Driving old Route 66, you can't miss the halfway point. It is marked by a big white line across the road flanked by four Route 66 shields and alongside the midpoint sign. Adrian Texas claims to be 1139 miles to Los Angles and Chicago in opposite directions. It was a great place to get off the bike, stretch our legs and wait for the numb bum to subside!
