I love these old space age styled neon signs. The style is actually called Googie, but I think they look like they came straight out of a Jetson's episode. The motel isn't actually on Route 66, but this flashy neon sign is and it points the direction just 1/2 block away. The motel was in operation in the 1960's and still is today. You'll see this great sign on East Santa Fe Avenue in Grants, NM
