The Jackrabbit Trading Post, Joseph City Arizona

Several signs lead the way to this trading post which started in 1949. This was the 2nd giant jackrabbit we had seen on Route 66, the other being at Henry's Rabbit Ranch in Illinois. The place is still in operation and appeared to be "hopping" when we drove by. Lots of nostalgic memorabilia around the place, including a model T car which was the inspiration for "Lizzie" from the Cars movie. You can visit the place yourself on Route 66 in Joseph City, AZ
