I was so bummed when road construction on Route 66 kept us from seeing the original and infamous Lucille's Roadhouse which was built in 1927 in Hydro, OK and then we found this replica of the old restaurant further down the road. Of course we stopped and had lunch here. The place was designed in the style of a 1950's diner, the food was great and it was fun to learn some of the history about Lucille Hamon and her original roadhouse, plus there was a fun gift shop! You can find it on North Airport Road in Weatherford, OK
