This station originally opened as a Whiting Brothers gas station in 1950, and is the only service station still operating in Truxton. It has the classic Whiting Brothers canopy, minus the traditional red and yellow stripes which have been painted over at some point as it transitioned to several other brands including Enco and Mobil.
