Vintage Laundromat sign, Palmyra Illinois

I love vintage signs, especially neon! It was daylight so I'm not sure if this one lights up any more? Interesting thing, there didn't seem to be a laundromat or any remains of one nearby, this was just in the corner of someone's yard. Either they just left it there because it is a cool piece of history, or they like old laundromat signs! Either way, I love it! I'd never heard of "Norge" appliances so I was also able to learn a little bit of American made appliance history. I'm sure that little tidbit of knowledge will come in handy some day! :) If anyone knows if the "Launderama" sign on IL 111 in Palmyra, IL still lights up, please comment and let me know!!
