Well-Preserved Neon Sign, Bethany Oklahoma

This large iconic neon sign wearing a cowboy hat is in great condition and stands in front of the Wester Motel, a typical Route 66 era motor court Motel. I love these old signs that advertise that their rooms have air conditioning. Something we take for granted now but fun to realize that not so very long ago, the feature was a luxury!
