On down the road was another coffee shop and steak themed restaurant. This one has been open since 1949 and the great neon sign with the classic yellow arrow still works. Until 1947, when it burned down, this location was the Lavaland Cafe, then briefly the Desert Vue Cafe in the current building. Looks like you can get a little bit of everything here. You can find this restaurant just west of the Route 66 Gateway Arch on Central Avenue NW, Albuquerque NM
