Whispering Winds Motel, Flagstaff Arizona

This sign and building seemed to say, "Look at me, I used to be really cool". As it turns out, it was. The architectural design of the building was really unique in the 1950's and someone is making an effort to restore some of it's former glory. Since I drove by and snapped this photo, work has been done to preserve the building and sign including the return of the original pink and turquois color scheme and old sign elements. You can find it right on East Route 66 in Flagstaff, AZ
